I support Darrell because I know that he is a man that will stand up to possible federal intervention in Oklahoma County. Whetsel is the kind of person that is pro big government and will willingly cow tow to anything the federal government tells him to do.

I support Darrell because he is a staunch supporter of 2nd Amendment rights. He supports the concealed carry and open carry efforts in Oklahoma while his opponent, John Whetsel, openly opposed these efforts. Despite what you are hearing in the media about Whetsel's pro-gun stance, do not believe it. He was praised in the media by former President Bill Clinton due to his work to restrict gun rights and his work in opposing the concealed carry law here in Oklahoma. I like his stand on Constitutional Rights.

President Visits Oklahoma

President Obama visits Oklahoma with the pretext of approving and helping speed up approval of the Oklahoma portion of the pipeline that was to run from Canada to Texas. Just weeks ago he was calling senators on the phone trying to get them to vote against the pipeline.

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama today denied the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, finding that building the pipeline is not in the national interest.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Canadian company says it will build an oil pipeline from Oklahoma to Texas after President Barack Obama blocked the larger Keystone XL pipeline from Canada.

Calgary-based TransCanada says the new project does not require presidential approval, since it does not cross a U.S. border. The shorter pipeline is expected to cost about $2.3 billion and be completed next year.

Washington, Mar 21 - "Today, Congressman John Sullivan, Vice Chairman of the Energy and Power Subcommittee, offered the following statement reacting to media reports that President Obama intends to announce he will expedite the permitting process for the southern portion of the Keystone pipeline during his visit to Cushing, OK on Thursday. Cushing is home to the worlds largest oil storage complex."

“President Obama claiming credit for speeding up the Keystone pipeline is like Al Gore saying he invented the internet – it is claiming credit where credit isn't due. This is clearly an attempt to deflect attention from $4 gas and his failed energy policies, and Oklahomans won't buy it. The southern portion of Keystone XL doesn’t cross international lines and doesn’t need presidential approval. In fact, this administration has done everything in their power to delay the Keystone process – just last week the President personally lobbied members of Congress to vote against it.”

“Simply put, the southern portion of keystone – from Cushing, OK to the Gulf Coast – is being built in spite of the Obama Administration, not because of them. This portion of the pipeline does require numerous permits, but those come from state authorities, army corps of engineers and fish and wildlife services, not the president.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – "U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, today commented on President Obama's upcoming visit to Cushing, Okla. ahead of the construction of a pipeline which will run from Cushing to the Gulf. President Obama plans to travel to Oklahoma City, Okla. on March 21 and to Cushing, Okla. on March 22."

"When President Obama visits Oklahoma in preparation for a new pipeline from Cushing to the Gulf, we hope that he will learn a thing or two about the benefits of using our own domestic oil and gas resources, especially as gas prices continue to skyrocket," Inhofe said. "Unfortunately, we know his visit is little more than a campaign stop in an attempt to put a favorable spin on his dismal energy record, because current gas prices threaten his job. America has more domestic recoverable resources of oil, gas and coal than any country in the world, and developing these resources is the best way to revive our economy while bringing down prices at the pump. Yet, President Obama continues to wage an all-out attack on American fossil fuel development in his war on affordable energy. He keeps saying that oil and natural gas are the fuels of the past, but he is wrong. Oklahomans know they are very much the fuels of the present and the foreseeable future. The sooner he realizes this, the better."

Governor Mary Fallin is on vacation with her family and won't be back in Oklahoma to receive the president. The governor said she found out about his visit from the media. This only lends credit to the thought that this president has no boundaries, no limits, and no respect for others. If he had boundaries he wouldn't try to take credit for the very thing he has been working to destroy. If he knew what limits were he would know that other people have rights. If he had respect for others he would have notified Governor Fallin well in advance of his planned trip. That begs the question, "Why?" Why would he not notify a governor that he intends to visit their state? Why indeed? Is it because she would have politely told him her opinion of his policies? Why was his television audience by invitation only? Did he see the protesters in Cushing? They were wanting to tell the president that he had nothing to do with the pipeline in Cushing. Of course the media and the security that he surrounds himself with won't allow us peons close to him. Those who don't agree with his lies and suck up to him because he is president aren't allowed in him presence. The media paint a picture of a lie.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and other elected officials are blasting President Barack Obama for his decision to reject a permit to build a Canada-to-Texas oil pipeline that would cross Oklahoma.

Obama on Wednesday announced that he turned down the proposal for the 1,700-mile pipeline because Congress gave him a 60-day deadline that did not allow for a thorough review of the project.

Fallin says the rejection of the pipeline will cost the state an estimated 1,200 construction jobs and more than $1 billion in new investment in Oklahoma.

A TransCanada official said last week that if approved, the next phase of the project was to build a large pipeline from the oil storage center in Cushing, Oklahoma, to refineries along the Texas Gulf Coast.

I just heard on the local news that President Obama did get to see the people and their signs in Cushing. Signs read, "Go Home", "Keystone Yes", "Socialists not welcome here", and it was reported by local radio news that some of the protesters waved a special finger at the president.

Super Tuesday

On Super Tuesday I was super sick but I felt it my civic duty to vote. My friend down the street arrived the same time I did at the Polling Place. I finished voting, went to the restroom, and went back to see if she was finished voting and to tell her good bye or help her to the car. She's elderly so I wanted to help her any way I could even though I felt terrible. Her ballot would not go in the machine. No matter how the official tried it wouldn't work and she was given a new ballot. I saw who she voted for and wondered if she had changed her mind because she had said she was voting for Santorum. I felt bad and told her goodbye. I finished my errands and went home to bed. My friend called me the next day to see how I was. As we talked she confided in me that her neighbor had talked to her before she went to vote and told her to vote for Romney. He told her it was only the Primary and it didn't matter. She said that after she voted she went home and her neighbor called her and in their conversation he said he was going to vote for Santorum. She told me that she could vote for Santorum in the General Election. I wanted to tell her that if Santorum isn't nominated in the Primary Election he most certainly won't be in the General Election. She talked real loud and I couldn't get a word in. I tried to explain to her that each vote counts. I tried to explain to her what Electoral Votes were. I don't think she understood but who knows. I don't know how she voted.

It's sad that this wonderful country, so blessed by God, has come to such a pitiful state. There are a lot of people changing their political party. Thank God for that. Now if the party doesn't change back to real conservatives what will we do? Last election we had a real stink of a Republican in name only running for office. Made me sick. I hope I don't feel sick again this time. I hope that my being sick on Super Tuesday doesn't translate into being Super Sick on Election Day.

United States Electoral College

The United States Electoral College is the official name of the group of Presidential Electors who are chosen every four years to cast the electoral vote and thereby elect the President and Vice President of the United States. It was established by Article Two, Section One of the United States Constitution, which provides for a quadrennial election of Presidential Electors in each state. The electoral process was modified in 1804 with the ratification of the 12th Amendment and again in 1961 with the ratification of the 23rd Amendment. The Electoral College is administered at the national level by the National Archives and Records Administration via its Office of the Federal Register. The actual meetings of electors in each state are administered by state officials.

The Presidential Electors meet in their respective state capitals in December, 41 days following the election, at which time they cast their electoral votes. Thus the "electoral college" never meets as one national body. They ballot for President, then ballot for vice president. Afterward, the Electors sign a document called the Certificate of Vote which sets forth the number of votes cast for these two offices and is signed by all Electors. Multiple copies of the Certificate of Vote are signed, in order to provide multiple originals in case one is lost. One copy is sent to president of the Senate (i.e. the sitting Vice President of the United States); the certificates are placed in two special mahogany boxes where they await a joint session of the new Congress where they are opened and counted. Candidates must receive a majority of the electoral vote to be declared the president-elect or vice-president-elect. If no candidate for President receives an absolute electoral majority 270 votes out of the 538 possible, then the new House of Representatives is required to go into session immediately to vote for President. (This would likely just occur when more than two candidates receive electoral votes, but could theoretically happen in a two-person contest, if each received exactly 269 electoral votes). In this case, the House of Representatives chooses from the three candidates who received the most electoral votes, but could not establish a majority of votes in the College. The House votes en-bloc by state for this purpose (that is, one vote per state, which is determined by the majority decision of the delegation from that state; if a state delegation is evenly split, a deadlock normally results, and that state is considered as abstaining).

This vote would be repeated if necessary until one candidate receives the votes of more than half the state delegations—at least 26 state votes, given the current number, 50, of states in the union. If no candidate for Vice President receives an absolute majority of electoral votes, then the United States Senate must do the same, with the top two vote getters for that office as candidates. The Senate votes in the normal manner in this case, not by States. It is unclear if the sitting Vice President would be entitled to cast his usual tie-breaking vote if the Senate should be evenly split on the matter. If the House of Representatives has not chosen a winner in time for the inauguration (noon on January 20), then the Constitution of the United States specifies that the new Vice President becomes Acting President until the House selects a President.

If the winner of the Vice Presidential election is not known by then either, then under the Presidential Succession Act of 1947, the Speaker of the House of Representatives would become Acting President until the House selects a President or the Senate selects a Vice President. On the one hand, the Twelfth Amendment specifies that the Senate should choose the Vice President, and it does not admit of a time limit on the selection process. On the other hand, the Twenty-Fifth Amendment allows the President to nominate a Vice President if a vacancy should occur. As of 2006, the House of Representatives has elected the President on two occasions, in 1801 and in 1825. The Senate has chosen the Vice President once, in 1837.

Perfect Penance

What will Perfect Penance Look Like for Weiner?

After Representative Weiner blew it by posting his brief photos on the Internet, he blew it by lying to the world, but most of all he blew it with his wife.

Abedin and Weiner were married by President Clinton in July of 2010. She is the daughter of Iranian and Pakistani parents and born in Kalamazoo, Mich. She worked for Hillary Clinton in 1996 as an aide.

Now my question is;
Will Abedin require perfect penance for Weiner's sins?
Will she require him be more liberal as far as Iran and Pakistan are concerned?
What will her family say?

She is Muslim. Weiner is Jewish. What happened there? That's a little strange considering Muslims hate Jews. Weiner is a big supporter of Jews and Israel. Will his wife change any of that? It's hard to believe that a Jewish man would even consider marrying a woman who could be his worst enemy. Actuall, Weiner is his own worst enemy. He let his weiner do the thinking for him. Reminds me of Samson and Delilah in the Bible. Samson let his weiner do his thinking and he ended up a prisoner.

Will Abedin hold Weiner a prisoner? What will she require of him? If she knew of his problems before their marriage then why would she have married him? Love? A Muslim loves a Jew????? It's possible. I guess. Delilah let Samson think she loved him.

I know nothing about these two people other than what I've read on the Internet so I probably shouldn't be commenting on their love relationship.

This has opened up a whole lot of questions in my mind. I'd never heard of either one of these people before Weiner got his weiner picture in a jam.

In what capacity does Abedin Weiner work for Hillary Clinton?
How much influence does she sway over Mrs. Clinton?
What are her views on Israel?
Muslims despise American way of life and consider us depraved. What does Abedin Weiner think of Americans now?
If she knew about Rep. Anthony Weiner's problem before they were married, what was she thinking when she married him?

I can change him.
He'll be a good way to get inside politics without having to hold office.
I can influence this poor sap once we're married.

Will someone try to blackmail Anthony Weiner for top secret information in order to keep other sex scandals from coming out that might jeopardize his marriage?

Will someone try to influence his vote in congress?

What sort of penance will Mr. Weiner pay for his sins?

Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Iranian and Pakistani parents, Abedin began working for the Clinton White House in 1996 as an aide to the first lady. The longtime Clinton aide -- who had her own photo spread in Vogue magazine -- was reportedly romanced by both George Clooney and John Cusack before hooking up with Weiner.

The political power couple met while Abedin was on the campaign trail during Clinton's 2008 White House bid. By 2009, they were engaged.

They wed last July at Oheka Castle in Huntington, LI.

Abedin has put on a brave face throughout the ordeal of the Twitter scandal, but she did not show up at his press conference yesterday. Her job requires her to be out of the country the equivalent of every other week, which may explain why Weiner has had so much time to flirt on Facebook and Twitter.

On March 16, while Nevada Democratic volunteer Lisa Weiss says he was sexting with her on Facebook, according to RadarOnline.com, Abedin was with Hillary Clinton visiting Egypt and Tunisia, federal records show.

At each stop, while Weiner discussed whether Jewish women were adept at performing oral sex, Abedin helped Clinton consult with government officials and elements of civil society on recent events in the Middle East and the full range of regional and bilateral issues.

Thanks for letting the Muslim nation know we are not the enemy. When Hamas sets off bombs and tries to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and the U.S. says Israel has a right to defend itself, will the Muslim world remember that? Will they care? They haven't so far.

The Israelis and the Palestinians have been making decisions. The Palestinians decided to vote Hamas into power. They knew what Hamas was. If Hamas uses their children as shields and as workers to dig tunnels then the Palestinians are to blame. Or are they like the dumb Americans who voted this last election. Now that I think about it I imagine they are more alike than anyone can guess. Did they vote for Hamas because they promised them Change? Sounds familiar doesn't it?
